The QC Technician is responsible for performing quality control checks and inspections to ensure products meet company and customer quality standards. This includes monitoring the production process, conducting measurements, documenting results, and reporting any deviations or defects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-process and final product inspections using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Ensure that raw materials, components, and finished goods comply with specifications.
Record inspection results accurately and maintain proper documentation.
Report any non-conformities or quality issues to the QC Supervisor.
Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality problems.
Maintain cleanliness and calibration status of measuring instruments.
Follow all company safety procedures and quality policies.
Work closely with production operators to resolve quality issues on the spot.
Support internal and external audits when required.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM or Diploma in a related field (Science, Engineering, etc.).
1-2 years of experience in quality control (preferably in a manufacturing or production environment).
Able to read technical drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with ISO standards is an advantage.
Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
