Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Duties :-

1. Training Development:

Develop and update training materials, modules, SOPs, and WI for QC processes. Prepare competency assessments (e.g., Blind Test, AR&R, Visual Inspection Test). Establish training curriculum for new QC inspectors and re-training for existing staff.
2. Training Delivery:

Conduct classroom and on-site practical training for QC inspectors and operators. Provide hands-on coaching for inspection methods, cosmetic criteria, measurement techniques, and defect identification. Ensure training is aligned with customer specifications (QSI), ISO requirements, and internal quality standards.
3. Competency Evaluation:

Assess trainees' performance through tests, observation, and practical assessment. Record competency results and recommend qualification or re-training. Maintain training records and issue competency certificates when applicable.
4. Quality System Support:

Collaborate with Quality Engineers and Production Leaders for training needs. Participate in root cause analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and include findings into training modules. Ensure continuous improvement in training effectiveness.
5. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate training logs and attendance. Report training progress, trainee competency levels, and gaps to management. Ensure training materials are controlled and updated as per DCC requirements.

Qualification / Knowledge / Skills Requirements :-

1. Minimum SPM level or equivalent qualification with relevant manufacturing working experience.

2. At least 1 year of experience in Quality Control, Visual Inspection, Injection Molding, or related field.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

4. Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

5. Good communication and teaching ability.6Competent in report writing and documentation control.

Authority :-

1. Training & Competency:

Approve or reject trainee competency based on assessment results (e.g., Blind Test, AR&R, Visual Test). Request re-training for QC Inspectors, Production Leaders, or Operators identified as not competent.
2. Quality System & Documentation:

Recommend updates or changes to Work Instructions, SOPs, QSI, and visual standards based on training findings. Access and utilize quality-related documents, customer specifications, and QSI for training purposes. Maintain and control training materials through DCC processes.
3. Operational Authority:

Request Production Supervisors to release operators/inspectors for mandatory training. Escalate to Quality Manager if training requirements are not followed by Production or other departments. Reject non-standard or outdated inspection methods that contradict the quality

system.

Working Condition :-

Work primarily in both training room and production floor. Works closely with Production, QC Leaders and QA Engineers. May require flexibility for overtime training sessions May involve standing/walking for extended periods during on-floor training
