A leading chemical distribution company is seeking a QSHE Manager to lead the implementation and maintenance of the QSHE policy and related QMS in the organisation. In this job, you will report directly to the Managing Director.

About the QSHE Manager Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuation of QSHE strategies, policies, systems, programmes, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all initiatives related to occupational health, safety, and environmental matters within the organisation
• Ensure the effective and efficient implementation and control of quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety practices in accordance with local regulations, company standards, customer requirements, and ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, as well as any other applicable business regulations
• Oversee the establishment, implementation, improvement, documentation, and maintenance of quality management system (QMS), environmental management system (EMS), and occupational health and safety management system (OH&SMS). Continuously strive for improvement and ensure the effectiveness of these systems
• Provide necessary QSHE training for relevant employees
• Foster a safe and healthy work environment across all operations
• Promote and actively engage employees in adopting a culture of behavioural-based safety awareness within the organisation

To succeed in the QSHE Manager role, you will need to have at least 10 years of experience and a strong understanding of safety and quality in the Chemical or Oil and Gas industry.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree or master\'s degree of Occupational Health and Safety, Engineer, Science or any related field
• !0 years of experience in quality, environment, occupational health and safety management
• Auditing skills and extensive experience in meeting the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and 5S standards
• Substantial expertise and a proven history of success in effectively managing quality
• Experience with implementing Process Safety Management, and Quality Management is an advantage
• Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
• Proficient understanding of current advancements and evolving patterns in QSHE best practices, project management, and related technologies
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a quality mindset
• Proven leadership on quality and regulatory matters
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills at all levels
• Ability to connect and gain commitment from all global stakeholders
