JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team at AirAsia. The QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through comprehensive testing and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL CHAMPION:Test Planning and Execution:Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet project timelines.Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.Defect Management:Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the software.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and performance.Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.Collaboration:Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product features and functionality.Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and business analysts/product managers) to identify system requirements.Quality Improvement:Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.Apply quality engineering principles throughout the development lifecycle.WHO YOU ARE:2 years of experience in software testing or QA roles with a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). * Experience in API and Web services testing using manual test tools such as Postman.Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.Solid understanding of mobile testingFamiliarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) will be an added advantageExperience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).Experience with specific tools/technologies relevant to the company\xe2\x80\x99s stack.Familiarity with specific domain or industry, if applicable.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Office environment with occasional need to visit production or testing sites.Collaborative team setting with opportunities for professional development and growth.
