- Manage and monitor Halal certification processes, documentation and audits.
- Liaise with Halal certification bodies and ensure timely renewal of certifications.
- Conduct regular internal Halal audits and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- Handling QA activities including inspection, testing and verification of raw materials, in-process and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 and other relevant food safety standards.
- Maintain and update Halal and quality-related records and documentation.
- Support training programs for staff on Halal awareness and quality assurance practices.
- Investigate and resolve non-conformities, customer complaints and quality issues.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure continuous improvement in product quality and Halal compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in QA or Halal compliance (preferably in the food or beverage industry).
- Strong knowledge of Halal standards (e.g., MS1500, JAKIM guidelines) and quality systems.
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Able to work in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.
