The Quality Assurance (QA) cum Jolt System Coordinator is responsible for maintaining consistent quality, hygiene, operational standards, and compliance across all outlets under Nifayyi Group of Companies.
This role oversees the Jolt Digital Operations System, ensuring all SOPs, checklists, food safety practices, and operational routines are followed accurately in a fast-paced modern cafe environment.
The position ensures outlets remain audit-ready, efficient, and consistently deliver the Nifayyi brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
A. Quality Assurance & Food Safety
Conduct scheduled and surprise QA audits across all Nifayyi outlets in accordance with SOPs and brand requirements.
Ensure food quality, correct portioning, plating consistency, and product freshness.
Monitor hygiene and sanitation in kitchen, storage, dining, and service areas.
Ensure full compliance with:
KKM (Ministry of Health) guidelines
Halal documentation & preparation processes
DOSH safety standards
Local authorities (MBI, etc.)
Document all non-compliance issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
Assist in investigating any customer complaints related to quality or hygiene.
B. Jolt System Management
Manage, update, and monitor the Jolt Digital Operations System.
Upload and revise SOPs, digital checklists, temperature logs, and cleaning schedules.
Ensure outlet teams complete daily Jolt tasks and submit required logs.
Train new and existing staff on Jolt usage (training structure will be provided).
Track compliance, identify gaps, and report system-related issues to management.
Digitise new SOPs and operational improvements into Jolt.
C. Operational & Compliance Support
Support outlet chef, floor manager, and etc etc during internal and external audits.
Ensure all documentation for Halal, KKM, DOSH, and local authority inspections remains up to date.
Participate in menu rollouts, new outlet openings, and product testing.
Standardise procedures and ensure consistency across all outlets.
D. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain organised digital files for audit results, HACCP logs, and compliance documents.
Prepare weekly and monthly QA summaries for management review.
Highlight recurring issues, risk areas, and improvement recommendations.
Ensure all documentation is complete, updated, and audit-ready at all times.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Culinary, Hospitality, F&B Management, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years experience in F&B operations, QA, compliance, or audit roles.
Knowledgeable in:
Food safety and hygiene practices
Halal preparation processes and documentation
KKM, DOSH, and local authority compliance
Cafe and multi-outlet operational standards
Able to use basic digital tools to complete checklists and reporting (Jolt training provided).
Comfortable using mobile apps and simple digital forms (no advanced IT skills required).
Able to travel between multiple outlets when required.
Strong communication, teamwork, and follow-up ability.
Detail-oriented, disciplined, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
