As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by conducting thorough testing, identifying and resolving issues. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly software to our customers.ResponsibilitiesTest Planning:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project documentation.

Test Execution:

• Execute manual and, if applicable, automated test cases to verify the functionality and performance of software applications.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new features or enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Defect Identification and Reporting:

• Identify, document, and prioritize software defects and issues.
• Work closely with developers and other team members to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Automated Testing (Optional):

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
• Implement and execute automated testing as part of the overall testing strategy.

Performance Testing:

• Conduct performance testing to ensure the scalability and reliability of software applications.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.

Compatibility Testing:

• Conduct compatibility testing on different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
• Ensure that software products meet specified compatibility requirements.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed and organized test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to development teams.

Collaboration:

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand user requirements and system functionality.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA function.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the QA process.
