Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience in QA, preferably in the fresh food or vegetable processing industry.
Familiar with food safety certifications and quality systems (e.g., HACCP, ISO, HALAL, MESTI).
Experience in managing production environments and staff scheduling is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English (Mandarin a plus).
Able to work independently and under pressure.
Willing to work in shifts and occasionally on weekends or public holidays.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures.
Support the daily operations of the QA team, ensuring product quality meets standards and specifications.
Ensure compliance with relevant food safety and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, HALAL, MESTI, SFA).
Conduct audits and inspections of production processes, hygiene practices, and facilities.
Investigate quality issues and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate with production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality concerns and meet production goals.
Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Prepare and present quality reports to senior management regularly.
Assist in managing and mentoring QA staff, including training and performance follow-up.
Additional Responsibilities:
Plan and assign daily work schedules for production workers according to production needs.
Check and process daily customer orders to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.
Conduct daily hygiene checks in production areas and ensure proper cleanliness standards are met.
Monitor and coordinate manpower to ensure smooth workflow and staff deployment.
Maintain communication between QA, production, and logistics teams.
Ensure all activities are well-documented and traceable.
Able and willing to work on a rotating shift basis (xe8xbdxaexe7x8fxadxe5x88xb6xe5xbaxa6).
