Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Food Technology or equivalent is preferred
At least 5 years relevant working experiences in food manufacturing
Proficient in both and written English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin
Strong organization, communication and analytical skills
High disciplinary and problem solving and continuous improvement mind-set
Good in Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
Establish, implementing, reviewing and maintaining Quality and Food Safety Management System in accordance with the local and global standards and regulations.
Perform strategic planning and risk management for organization.
Participate in cross department system improvement and HR collaboration. Cross-functioning development of quality and food safety team members to ensure system implementation throughout the whole organization completely.
Quality Assurance (QA) department management by performing gap analysis to improve the department efficiency.
Overseeing staffing, job roles, training programs, and organizational structure to ensure alignment with quality objectives and operational efficiency.
Perform administration tasks do not limit to documentation and approval task on leave application, manpower planning, scheduling of manpower, recruitment, and performance evaluation.
Develop and set up departmental goal and comprehend directives from upper management to subordinate to ensure they are on the same directions.
Act as quality assurance subject matter expert and provide advice from the perspective of quality assurance and quality control.
Lead and coordinate in crisis management (product recall, food defence related issue, process interruption and other ERP situation) to eliminate potential risk on product quality.
Ensure the seamless functioning of QA activities related to incoming and outgoing processes, document control, and environmental considerations.
Coordinate the trial run with R&D. Analyse the product data for product development project. Collaborate with supplier on the process improvement.
Serve as main contact point or authorize to team member in manage audit activities comprehensively, including scheduling, coordination, and resolution for quality, food safety, and social compliance audits with various entities, ensuring compliance and improvement.
\xe2\x80\xa2Evaluate and appointment of food ingredient suppliers, monitor stocks level and forecast on the ingredients required to meet production needs, brief suppliers on their responsibility in meeting compliance of global food safety requirements and regulations.
Responsible in preparing reports for management review, operational and QA reporting.
Carry out duties in complying to Company\'s Food Safety System, Company\'s Environment Guidelines, Company\'s Health and Safety Guidelines, Company\'s Policy and Procedures, etc. by maintaining, evaluating and continuous improvement.
Perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.
