Plan and conduct
internal audits

external and customer audits
, and ensure timely closure of findings.
Oversee
document control
, calibration, and quality record management.
Ensure that all production outputs (tooling, stamping, assemblies) comply with customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
Lead incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control activities.
Establish, review, and improve quality control procedures, sampling plans, and inspection criteria.
Ensure all new product launches meet quality requirements through effective
PPAP
,
FMEA
,
Control Plan
, and
MSA
processes.
Manage and verify supplier quality performance through audits, incoming inspections, and improvement programs.
Act as the
primary contact for customer quality issues
and audits.
Lead
root cause analysis
and
corrective/preventive actions (8D reports)
for customer complaints and internal non-conformances.
Drive continuous communication and partnership with customers to enhance satisfaction and confidence.
Set measurable objectives for the department aligned with company goals.
Oversee quality performance metrics (e.g., defect rates, scrap, first pass yield, customer returns) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop succession planning and ensure consistent performance standards within the team.
