Position : QA Manager (Senior) Location : Sungai Petani, Kedah Salary : RM 8K - RM 10K Industry : Printing & Manufacturing Purpose Of The Job We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumer. Objective of this Role Develop strategies in quality department direction, ensure team strategies inline with the quality department direction and ensure proper execution of strategies via collaboration with other departments in the company. Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality strategy, to drive departmental continuous improvement, quality improvement project, process. To lead the quality team in setting business strategy in quality operations, compliance, quality assurance projects, program, internal and external audits activities, standard operating procedures, policies. To lead quality team, to support marketing team in developing new products/processes to meet customer requirements, in line with business objectives. To act as Management Representative of Integrated Management System consisting of QMS and EMS, and of FSC CoC Management System Key Responsibilities Overseeing quality and coordinating support departments. Demonstrate commitment to customer service, understand customer needs, anticipate problems, meet and exceeds expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively. Develop a Best-in-Class Quality Culture, develop effective quality control processes at an appropriate cost. Managing QMS for ISO 9001, 14001 & GMP. Lead the FMEA based risk mitigation process in manufacturing Leading change management for quality projects with all stakeholders. Lead internal audit and supplier audit annually. Lead problem solving for quality issues such as customer complaint, production of Spec, devise and review specifications for products or processes. Develop an IQC process that works collaboratively between manufacturing and purchasing. Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance. Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations. Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards. Ensure inspection for final output and compare finish goods to requirements. Ensure systematic approach in approving the right products or reject defectives. Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis. Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met. Promote operational excellence through consistent dialog/feedback with team members and partners on continual improvement. Your Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, other related field. Possess minimum 10 - 15 years experience in leading and managing quality operations. Possess proven experience leading corporate quality department, managing customer audit, compliance, QMS (ISO9000, ISO14000 standards,GMP), Lean manufacturing, 6 Sigma, FMEA, control plan are advantages. Experience in quality management in printing manufacturing would be advantage. Knowledge in manufacturing quality legislation, quality operations management, best practices working.
