Quality Assurance Technician
Job descriptionPentamaster Corporation Berhad is seeking a talented QA Technician to join our team in Batu Kawan, Penang.
What you'll be doing
Ensure compliance of product specification and standards.
Ensure inspection activities and product quality plan effectively executed.
To maintain the quality records prior to inspection.
To set up the inspection, testing & measuring equipment, jigs and fixtures.
To carry out QA laboratory testing, work in process and finished good inspection activities as per quality plan, procedure and instruction.
To perform the First Article Inspection (FAI).
Generate inspection report after completing inspection task.
Prepare all relevant documents and data requested by customer and internal cross functional department.
Ensure that processes and products are verified for conformance to customer requirements and Acceptance Test Plan from IPQC, final check until packing.
Follow up buy off on machine to ensure compliance to customer, safety and ISO standard.
Compiling product inspection data, LAR and GRR data where applicable.
Maintaining quality record and statistical performance for individual customer account.
He / She shall demonstrate positive attitudes and positive actions through a display of courtesy, congeniality, cooperation, sensitivity and professionalism.
Capable to protect the confidentiality of information with areas of own position responsibilities by preventing unauthorized release, both verbal and/or writing.
Closely follow up with project team for every project buyoff status.
Actively participating in 6S implementation within department
What we're looking for
Certificate or Diploma holder or equivalent in engineering related field
At least 1 year working experience in quality field.
QA experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is an added advantage.
Computer knowledge in Microsoft office.
