Job Scopes:

• Responsible for overall quality assurance and quality control activities and its compliances in factory
• To plan, direct & supervise all activities pertaining to routine testing and QC support to ensure timely reporting
• To maintain and ensure product quality as per required specifications
• Ensure that product comply with the food legislation requirements i.e. Food Act 1983 (Act 281) & Regulations, HACCP, GMP & exporting country\xe2\x80\x99s regulation
• To monitor the quality status from receiving until finished goods and raise improvement plan or provide solutions on QA/QC issue
• Liaise with customers on quality complaint issue
• To coordinate and troubleshoot problems related to product quality with related department
• To liaise with certification body for compliance / surveillance audit
• Ensures quality and food safety standards in the products are met by training of personnel and close monitoring of the processing
• Collaborate with factory / manufacturing department for product and process improvement as well as new development (R&D).
• To ensure all equipments calibration and product analysis are carry out as per schedule

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering (Chemistry), Science & Technology or equivalent
• At least 1 year of working experience in quality control / quality assurance in a food manufacturing company or food processing industry
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
• Basic knowledge in quality management system is an added advantage
• Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic computer skill
• Applicants must be willing to work in Sandakan
