Quality Control Inspector

Job Description
a) Inspect injection molded parts for defects such as
short shot, flash, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, flow lines, silver streaks, and color variation
.b) Perform
first-off / first article inspection
after mold setup and machine parameter changes.c) Conduct
in-process inspections
at defined intervals during production.d) Verify product
dimensions, weight, appearance, and functionality
according to drawings, samples, and specifications.e) Ensure correct
material type, color, and masterbatch ratio
are used during production.f)
Possess knowledge and understanding of plastic materials
, including PP, PE, ABS, PS, Nylon, and other related resins.g) Use measuring instruments such as
vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and weighing scales
.h) Record inspection results accurately and maintain
QC records, check sheets, and reports
.i) Identify, label, segregate, and report
non-conforming products
immediately.j) Stop production and inform the supervisor if serious or repeated quality issues are detected.
k) Monitor mold condition and report issues such as
mold damage, excessive flash, or abnormal wear
.l) Ensure
reworked, crushed, or reprocessed parts
meet quality requirements before reuse or release.m) Work closely with
Production, Technicians, and Planning
teams to resolve quality issues.n) Assist in
root cause analysis
and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).o) Ensure
packing, labeling, and product identification
comply with customer requirements.p) Support
internal audits, customer audits, and continuous improvement activities
.q) Maintain good housekeeping and proper handling of inspection tools and rejected parts.

Have experience with quality management system documentation
, includingISO 9001 and/or IATF requirements

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
