Job Description

Responsibility

1. CMM Operation:

Set up and operate Coordinate-Measuring Machines to inspect and measure precision components. Develop and implement CMM programs based on engineering drawings and specifications. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CMM equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
2. Quality Control:

Conduct thorough inspections of machined parts using CMM equipment. Analyse and interpret CMM measurement data to verify conformity to design specifications. Perform QC work by conducting various quality control inspections in accordance to various quality assurance procedures. Monitor & ensure fabricators and suppliers comply to and meet the requirements of quality procedures. Planning, organizing and conducting quality control inspections of receiving incoming raw materials and parts/components. Conduct and monitor Visual / Welding Inspections, Dimensional Inspections and other QC activities as required by the projects.
3. Continuous Improvement:

Define Corrective Action Request in responding to customer complaints. Assist QA Engineer & QC Supervisor in establishing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) Support the QA Engineer & QC Supervisor to ensure that products and processes comply with the requirements of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015).
Requirements

Minimum SPM with credits in BM, English & Mathematics. Candidates with CSWIP/AWS certification are preferred. Candidates with a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent would have an added advantage. Candidates with experiences in operating CMM machine will be prioritised. Minimum 2 years related working experience in fabrication/welding work. Knowledge of industrial process plant and equipment fabrication and installation would be an added advantage.
