We are looking for a

QC Inspector

to ensure all site works and materials used in interior fit-out and architectural projects comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This role is suitable for candidates with an interior design or architecture background who have strong site inspection experience.

What are your job roles?

Conduct regular inspections on-site to ensure all works and finishes are in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and workmanship standards. Monitor the use of materials and ensure compliance with the approved samples and specifications. Identify and report any non-conformance, defects, or poor workmanship and follow up on rectification works with the relevant parties. Coordinate and submit

Work Inspection Requests (WIR)

to the Main Contractor and Consultant for joint inspection. Ensure timely inspection and closure of

Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

issued by the Consultant or Client. Monitor the rectification progress by subcontractors and verify completed work for compliance before submission for re-inspection. Maintain proper QC documentation including inspection checklists, photo records, and daily reports. Coordinate with internal site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve site issues related to quality. Support project handover inspections and ensure completion of all quality-related punch list items. Attend site meetings or consultant/client walkthroughs when required. Undertake other QC-related tasks as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related construction fields. Minimum 2-5 years of site inspection experience in interior fit-out or architectural projects. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify workmanship defects. Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Willing to be stationed on-site and travel to project locations when required. Have experience and vast knowledge in QLASSIC inspection and reuquirement
