We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Quality Control (QC) Inspector

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality inspection within the construction and oil & gas industry, with a strong understanding of industry standards and procedures. This role is well-suited for candidates with a diploma-level qualification who are eager to contribute to ensuring project quality and compliance at every stage.

Key Responsibilities

Perform inspections and quality checks on construction activities and materials in accordance with project specifications and standards Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and procedures Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation Report any non-conformances or quality issues and coordinate with the site team for corrective actions Conduct visual inspections and assist in dimensional checks, welding inspections, material verification, etc. Support the QA/QC team in implementing project quality plans and procedures Participate in site audits, inspections, and client walkthroughs as required Assist in verifying material certificates, calibration records, and other QC-related documentation

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or relevant technical field) Minimum 3 years of experience in QC inspection, preferably in the construction or oil & gas sector Familiar with relevant quality standards Basic understanding of construction drawings, procedures, and specifications Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or deviations Good communication and reporting skills Ability to use inspection tools and instruments effectively Familiarity with Petronas Technical Standards (PTS), OGSP, and Malaysian codes of practice is an advantage

Key Skills & Requirements

Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote project locations Ability to work independently and under pressure in a site-based environment Must possess or be able to obtain OGSP, CIDB Green Card, and other relevant certifications Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
