. You will ensure all ingredients, packaging materials, and finished products meet food safety standards while keeping stock levels accurate to support our central kitchen and outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control (QC)
Inspect incoming raw materials (e.g., meat, vegetables, sauces, packaging) to ensure freshness, quality, and compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP).
Monitor in-process production (taste, portioning, hygiene, presentation).
Conduct final product checks before dispatch to outlets/customers.
Record and report any non-conformance, and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers or kitchen staff.
Maintain QC checklists, batch records, and ensure traceability.
Inventory Management
Manage daily stock movements (receiving, issuing, returning).
Monitor expiry dates and ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices.
Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts, reconcile variances, and prepare inventory reports.
Coordinate with purchasing team to raise requisitions and prevent stockouts.
Ensure all storage areas (dry, chiller, freezer) comply with food safety standards and cleanliness.
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's in Food Science, Culinary Management, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 1-2 years of experience in F&B QC, kitchen management, or inventory control (fresh graduates with strong internship experience are encouraged to apply).
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, or other food safety regulations is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets or inventory software.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience in central kitchen or restaurant chain operations.
Familiar with cold chain management and food handling practices.
Able to work flexible hours if required (weekends/public holidays during peak demand).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
