Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Quality Control (Senior Engineer/Manager). This position involves initially being based in Kuching, Malaysia, for training purposes and subsequently supporting our operations in other countries by assisting with the setup and management of factories. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth transition of employees from training in Kuching to their roles in different countries. Primary Responsibility: Responsible for incoming raw material inspection, internal change management and supplier management audit. Establish process flow for non-conforming raw material, initiate investigate and corrective action for problematic incoming material issue complaint by other departments together with suppliers and promote continuous improvement tasks. Participate and follow up new material and its 4M changes qualification status, followed by updating AVL once qualified. (carry out assessment/evaluation if any ). Responsible for in-lines process Quality Control and Non-conformance product disposition. To monitor and manage process capability and stability within defined control limits. Notify relevant functions for immediate rectification works with the issuance, monitoring and management of RFC/ Abnormality Management. As product engineer to monitor all new product/ technology conversion/ implementation. Responsible for measurement equipment setup, calibration and recipe optimization. In charge of final quality assurance of finished products through final EL, visual inspection and relevant sampling tests. Establish out-going product inspection system to ensure product according to customer requirement and specification through statistical process control. Develop, set up and maintain non-conforming product system and feedback to respective area for containment and improvement. Support CQE on customer complaints investigation and report. Data analysis and to drive improvement with engineering and manufacturing team to improve non-conforming product loss. Job Related Experience: At least 5 years working experience in quality assurance background, preferably in the solar/semiconductor/electronics manufacturing environment. Participate in quality improvement process and activity. Conducted training to staff of all levels. Work with cross functional team within the organization to achieve common goals. Education Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical, Material science).
