Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

Quality Control and Inspections

:

Establishing quality standards for products a company produces and system updates status Conduct detailed inspections of CNC machined parts using advanced measurement tools, including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), micrometers, calipers, gauges and etc. Ensure that products meet the specified tolerances and dimensional accuracy as outlined in engineering drawings and specifications. Review and verify first-article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards. Accepting or rejecting WIP and/or finished products, discussing inspection results with the production team

Quality Assurance

:

Develop and maintain comprehensive quality assurance plans, ensuring that all manufacturing processes align with established quality standards and specifications. Create and implement quality control procedures for CNC machining processes, ensuring consistency and repeatability in production. Evaluate and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product quality requirements are met.

Process Improvement

:

Lead continuous improvement efforts by analyzing quality data, identifying trends, and suggesting corrective actions to improve processes and reduce defects. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for any non-conformances, ensuring corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are taken. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize CNC machine performance and ensure efficient, high-quality production.

Documentation and Reporting

:

Document control for ISO 9001:2015 and complies all SOP, documentation required to production Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements. Prepare detailed quality reports, highlighting any quality issues, trends, and corrective actions. Ensure that all quality documentation is up-to-date and in line with industry standards and customer requirements.

Supplier Quality Management

:

Work with suppliers to ensure that the incoming materials meet quality standards and specifications. Perform supplier audits and assessments as needed to maintain quality control over external parts or materials.

Team Leadership and Training

:

Lead, mentor, and train junior quality engineers and technicians in QAQC practices, tools, and techniques. Provide guidance on interpreting and applying quality standards, processes, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality within the team, encouraging accountability and a focus on continuous improvement.

What we are looking for

Analytical and problem-solving skills (8D problem-solving) CNC manufacturing experience & CMM programming knowledge preferred Having experience with Wenzel Quartis CMM systems will be an advantage Technical skills and ability to understand blueprints, documents and manuals Dexterity, physical strength and physical stamina
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
