Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Currently, we are seeking an experienced candidate to fill this newly created position: Quality Engineer (Backend) Your Responsibilities Be a quality gatekeeper for non-conformance material containment and disposition - on hold / release / scrap of quality excursion materials in your process area. Work on non-conformance material quality risk assessment for instance in process QC data collection/analysis, reliability analysis etc. together with process area PE and NPI team Daily monitoring your process area product and inline process quality parameter trend, yield/defect loss rate. Highlight and follow up with process owners on OOC/OOS trend. Responsible for your process area quality control and quality management system compliance Organize/support on routine/ non routine line audit and system audit Train and qualify line quality technician/ provide guidance to them on daily quality issue handling, quality reporting and quality system operation Review Product and Process Change Management; ensure execution compliance with the quality expectation; change result follow up and closure in the change system Owner to review and update the product and process control limit with related stakeholders on regular basis Participate in task force team /drive continuous improvement project Drive process/tool owner, maintenance team on RCCAPA and quality incident closure. Other Job assignment from superior Your Profile Bachelor Degree/ Master in Engineering/Science or applicable Sciences/ Technical field from recognized institution or any equivalent field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in similar position/ HVM Quality Control or Process engineering, preferably in PCBA manufacturing/Semiconductor/ EMS Industry Experience in Plating, Assembly, Wet Etching, Film Lamination, Test or Visual Inspection would be added advantages Have broad experiences in various quality standards and other international management systems such as ISO9001 and etc. Working knowledge of Quality Management System and audits, factory auditing experience is beneficial for the position Deep understanding and hands on experience of factory manufacturing process control and quality systems Have exposure in various automotive core tools such as APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC,8D and Problem Solving Have strong analytical and problem solving skills Good knowledge in statistical and quality tools, eg: SPC, Statistic tool JMP or Minitab, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA would be added advantages Fluent communication and articulation skills in business level English, strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate and interact with internally and supplier\'s management highly required Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PPT) Able to work under pressure Our Offer Personal and professional growth opportunities in a Greenfield Project of a recognized MNC A chance to actively contribute to AT&S success and to create value A secure position with long-term career perspective in an internationally expanding environment Attractive and competitive compensation package If you are looking for a new challenging task, please send us your application and your detailed resume.
