They are committed to pushing the boundaries of hearing technology and improving lives worldwide. The HQ is based in France, with worldwide branches in Penang and US. This position will be based in Penang office.The Role:As a Quality Engineer, you\'ll be a champion for excellence, ensuring our products meet the highest standards. You\'ll work collaboratively across departments, from suppliers to customers, to drive continuous improvement in quality.Here\'s what you\'ll do:

• Oversee Quality Management:

• Manage and guide Quality Control (QC) activities to ensure consistent quality and meet established metrics.
• Conduct regular and annual audits for suppliers, upholding our quality standards throughout the supply chain.
• Lead internal audits to identify and address any internal quality system gaps.
• Maintain ISO documentation, ensuring compliance and facilitating the smooth implementation of quality improvements.
• Drive Quality Excellence:

• Analyze product quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
• Partner with suppliers to identify root causes of quality issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Manage all quality-related concerns, including internal issues, supplier problems, and customer claims.
• Work with suppliers to obtain product approvals from customers and qualify new suppliers.
• Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) like scrap rate, rework levels, and PPM (parts per million) figures.
• Project Management and Collaboration:

• Participate in new projects and ongoing changes to ensure they meet customer quality requirements.
• Manage supplier KPIs to ensure their alignment with our quality goals.
• Write clear and concise reports and present quality progress to project teams and customers.
• Plan and track projects and subtasks for better transparency and progress monitoring.
• Technical Expertise:

• Conduct inspections of both raw materials and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.

You\'re a Perfect Fit if You Have:

• A Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role.
• Strong understanding of ISO quality management systems and principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to quality improvement.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across departments and with external partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and quality management software (a plus).
