Job Summary

We are seeking a

Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

to lead and support technical quality activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing the quality technical roadmap aligned with corporate quality objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting audits, and driving continuous improvement in inspection, testing, and calibration systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the quality technical roadmap aligned with corporate quality objectives, including risk-based priorities, resource planning, and audit readiness Define and manage capital and operational expenditure for quality technical activities, test laboratories, equipment upgrades, calibration systems, and staff development Act as the technical interface between Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs, suppliers, and external auditors Lead the department during external audits, ensuring sustained compliance and timely investigation and closure of audit findings and CAPAs Establish, manage, and govern the internal calibration program, ensuring measurement traceability and compliance Strategize and oversee inspection and testing frameworks for incoming, in-process, and final product quality control Lead technical investigations related to product complaints, customer feedback, non-conformances, and process deviations using structured problem-solving methods Develop, validate, and continuously improve test methods, procedures, and protocols in line with regulatory and customer requirements Drive competency development and technical capability of quality personnel through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing Ensure preventive maintenance, reliability, and lifecycle management of testing and inspection equipment

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
