In this exciting role as aQuality Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing, modifying, applying, and maintaining quality standards and protocols for processing materials into finished products. This role collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. You will devise and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role may also oversee and direct the work of lower-level professionals.

A Day in the Life

As a Quality Engineer II, your key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met Designing inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment Conducting quality assurance tests and statistical analysis to identify cost and responsibility for non-conforming products Ensuring corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards Modifying systems and processes to improve effectiveness Supporting project milestones by contributing to innovative solutions Communicating with internal teams to share information and resolve issues Acting as a mentor to junior team members and directing their work as needed

Qualifications

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, or a related field Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within the job area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
