This Quality Engineer role ensures high standards of product, material, and process quality throughout new product introduction and manufacturing. The position focuses on driving improvements, collaborating with R&D, supporting production teams, and ensuring new products reach stable and reliable production stages.
As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving product quality across new product introduction and ongoing production. Core responsibilities include:

• Ensuring new product quality requirements are met and tracked against KPIs.
• Managing material quality issues and coordinating with suppliers or internal teams to resolve them.
• Overseeing finished goods quality during reliability testing.
• Supporting quality activities for products transferred or developed at the site.
• Monitoring yield, pass rates, and driving continuous improvement actions.
• Participating in product design reviews and ensuring quality considerations are captured.
• Following up on documentation, material readiness, tools, packaging, and process setup for new builds.
• Creating and reviewing process flows, FMEA, and quality documentation for NPI.
• Supporting SMT, wave soldering, assembly, and test processes.
• Working closely with R&D to resolve build issues and incorporate design?for?manufacturing improvements.
• Supervising early?stage production builds to ensure stable output.
• Reporting progress to management and supporting root?cause and corrective action activities.
• Applying statistical tools such as SPC and Gauge R&R experience with APQP/PPAP is beneficial.

You will be a strong fit if you have:

• A tertiary education in a relevant engineering field.
• At least 4 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO systems and IPC?610 Class 2 requirements.
• Experience or training in SPC, ISO, or Lean methodologies.
