The Quality Engineer SME II will adopt as its goals; the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles with focus on pFMEA and Control Plan.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Project leader \xe2\x80\x93direct and implement projects that will mitigate or eliminate risk, through the use of quality engineering tools and techniques.\xc2\xb7 Creation, Improvement and deployment of PFMEA governance (metrics, assessment, performance tracking, forums, improvement plans)\xc2\xb7 Creation, Improvement and deployment of Global Generic PFMEAs by Process in conjunction with other global SMEs.\xc2\xb7 Worldwide PFMEA training creation, improvement and deployment to regions and sites.\xc2\xb7 Worldwide PFMEA deployment in partnership with regions, sites and other departments\xc2\xb7 Improvement and deployment of eFMEA system, being the process owner of the tool\xc2\xb7 Serve as PFMEA expert and Support the regions and sites\xc2\xb7 Lead global PfMEa forums communicating changes, enhancements, training schedule, gaps and actions\xc2\xb7 Ensure the standardization of the PFMEA processes in Jabil worldwide\xc2\xb7 Identify early signs of low performance from the sites in the assigned regions and initiate recovery activities to prevent customer complaints

\xc2\xb7 Lead as Subject Matter Expert in all global & regional Quality systems and applications (APQP, MSA, Minitab, eFMEA, eSPC, 8D, RCA, and Problem Solving)
\xc2\xb7 Lead as Subject Matter Expert in all Quality Engineering practices
\xc2\xb7 Lead process improvement related activities for New Product Introduction
\xc2\xb7 Communicate to regional team key Quality Engineering metrics for assigned customer(s) and Site
\xc2\xb7 Drive the standardization of Manufacturing Process Quality Standards
\xc2\xb7 Coach, mentor, and train engineers within the Quality Engineering team & other functional engineering teams as needed
\xc2\xb7 Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout the site in accordance with the global, regional and site direction
\xc2\xb7 Develop new Quality engineering best practices with supporting data to Regional and Global Quality teams to optimize existing best practices
\xc2\xb7 Support & Advise Business Unit Coordinators and Business Unit Managers, and Site Management on new and actual processes capability
\xc2\xb7 Drive process improvement related activities for New Product Introduction.
\xc2\xb7 Champions compliance to applicable Global Regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, VDA 6.3, ISO 13485).
\xc2\xb7 Supports the development of quality engineering, quality compliance, quality leadership talents with the right skill sets for new product introductions, and product life cycle management.
