Job Description

Role Purpose:
To establish, implement, update and maintain the Spirit Malaysia quality requirements on the product, process and organization to meet stakeholders\' needs and customers\' requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• In charge of quality matters related to aero structure products and its manufacturing processes.
• Understand the program quality plan and able to implement it and manage the quality gap if any.
• Understand and work according to company\xe2\x80\x99s quality system and quality procedures in receiving inspection, in process inspection, final inspection, management of non-conformance product / process (NC1), parts quarantine monitoring and customers escape.
• Lead / Coordinate the Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) of problem solving by implementing 8D report, 7 QC tools and Why-why Analysis & Customer liaison.
• Accountable for compliance to product configuration management regulation.
• Understand and perform First Article Inspection (FAI) according to AS9102.
• Able to read and review customer requirements, specification and 3D data.
• Deliver quality technical training and awareness among the parties in the organization.
• Provide quality engineering input to commercial, procurement and planning teams.
• Drive preventive actions by utilizing improvement tools such as PFMEA and Poka-Yoke.
• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Analyzes data by completing hypothesis, normal distribution, and process capability analysis tests.
• Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Follow administrative procedures and requirements.
• Follow EHS procedures and requirements
• Maintain 5S and participate in Lean activities.
• Take ownership of KPI, monitor progress, and deliver results.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in technical disciplines such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Material Science.
• 2 - 4 years of working experience in relevant fields.
• SAP and CATIA skills will be an advantage.
• Excellent command of English and able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and planning skills.
• Solid business acumen and strong drive for business improvements.
• Proven track record of ability to perform under minimal supervision.
• Applicant must be a Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.
