Job Description

This role leads all QA, QMS, laboratory, and product quality operations within an Oil & Fats manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with international standards and refinery/blending performance. The position also drives ESG initiatives, continuous improvement, and technical support to enhance customer satisfaction and product excellence.

• Lead and manage overall QA operations, laboratory activities, and product quality control.
• Oversee oil refining and blending quality performance, ensuring consistency and traceability.
• Drive compliance with QMS standards including ISO 9001, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, GMP, and HACCP.
• Manage internal and external audits, including RSPO, MSPO, Halal, and customer audits.
• Coordinate ESG initiatives, sustainability reporting, and related compliance activities.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance quality and reduce non?conformities.
• Oversee technical support for customer enquiries, samples, and new product development.
• Provide expert technical guidance on quality issues and process optimization.
• Collaborate with production and operations to resolve quality deviations and improve standards.
• Develop, mentor, and motivate QA and laboratory teams to achieve high performance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10-12 years of QA/QC experience in the edible oil, fats, or food manufacturing industry.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of oil refining, fractionation, and blending processes.
• Proven experience with ISO 9001, ISO/FSSC 22000, HACCP, RSPO, MSPO, and ESG compliance.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead cross?functional teams and drive improvements.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
