Job Title: Quality Health, Safety and Environment Manager Location: Kuching Job type: Permanent Salary: RM 12-15K (negotiable). Key Responsibilities: 1. Strategic Planning: - Develop and implement comprehensive Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate QHSE considerations into business operations. 2. Procedures and Documentation: - Establish, review, and enhance QHSE policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. - Conduct regular audits to verify the effectiveness of QHSE procedures and recommend improvements. 3. ISO Audit Management: - Lead and oversee ISO audit processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. - Coordinate with internal teams to address findings and implement corrective/preventive actions. 4. Training and Education: - Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee awareness and understanding of QHSE policies and procedures. - Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization. 5. Incident Management: - Develop and implement incident reporting and investigation protocols to promptly address any QHSE-related incidents or near-misses. - Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. 6. Regulatory Compliance: - Stay abreast of evolving local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to QHSE matters. - Ensure the company\'s operations remain in compliance with all relevant legal requirements. 7. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk controls. Qualifications: - Possession of valid Greenbook and TOA certificates, demonstrating proficiency in QHSE principles and practices. - Certification in Environmental Management or equivalent. - Proven experience in a similar QHSE role, with a track record of successfully implementing QHSE programs. - Strong knowledge of ISO standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
