Job Description

• Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Master\'s degree preferred.
• Proven experience 2 years in a similar role, preferably in the construction, energy, or engineering sectors.
• Strong knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices, with a track record of implementing effective QHSE management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing QHSE issues.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities1. LEADERSHIP AND STRATEGY

• Develop and implement QHSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership in fostering a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship across the organization.

2. SAFETY MANAGEMENT

• Oversee and manage all aspects of safety programs, including risk assessments, safety training, incident investigations, and emergency response planning.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety performance and minimize occupational health and safety risks.

3. QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONTROL

• Establish quality management systems and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services to our clients.
• Develop quality assurance plans, conduct inspections, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and improve project quality.

4. ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

• Lead environmental management efforts to minimize the environmental impact of our operations, including waste management, pollution control, and resource conservation.
• Monitor environmental performance, track key metrics, and implement strategies to achieve sustainability goals and compliance with environmental regulations.

5. TRAINING AND COMPLIANCE

• Provide training and support to employees at all levels to raise awareness and promote adherence to QHSE policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, industry standards, and certifications related to QHSE management.

6. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, regulatory agencies, and other external partners to address QHSE-related issues and promote a culture of collaboration and transparency.

7. AD-HOC

• Assist with ad-hoc assignments as required.
