Job Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regularly maintain and calibrate QA dept equipment/instruments to ensure high quality analysis results.
- Maintain measurement instrument and work place in good condition, clean and tidy.
- Compile quality failure for abnormal defects.
- Prepare FAI/dimensional reports.
- Support in customer sample preparation.
- Responsible in practicing 5S culture and maintain housekeeping at the work area.
- Monitor and report on the performance of the quality equipment on monthly basis to QA management.
- Ensure quality inspection in receiving, in- process and final product release.
- Assist in quality buy-off as needed or assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested from time to time.
- Candidate must possess SPM/ Diploma or Higher Diploma or equivalent.
- Exposed and familiar with basic Six Sigma Tools, QMS (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, 140001) procedures are preferable.
- At least 1 year experience in using CMM programs using PC-DMIS.
- Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
- Reading part drawing
- Able to work as a team and discuss constructively.
- Candidate with experience in quality systems / tools (MSA, SPC, Control plan etc.) would be advantages.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality department in manufacturing environment.
