MASS Precision is the foremost metal fabricator in Silicon Valley, supporting NPI and high mix/low volume production in Fremont, CA and San Jose, CA, while expanding our production capability to Mexico and Malaysia. RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs incoming, in process and final inspection according to given specification/drawing and cosmetic criteria. Performs First Article Inspections and documents resulting data in accordance with Customer requirements. Upon identification of defects, create Non-Conformance Report (NCR). Completes assignments in a timely manner. Maintains a well-organized workspace and current task list with status of each item. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Any other responsibility which may be assigned from time to time by Department Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and basic understanding of GD&T principles. Proficient in use of all mechanical inspection instruments. Previous experience with CMM preferred. Detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level across the organization. Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to commit to a flexible schedule and prompt arrival to scheduled shifts. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in sheet metal fabrication industry or related field.
