Job Description

PPG is looking for a Quality Intern to join our team at our Petaling Jaya Plant. This internship program may range from 6 to 12 months depending on different Universities\' requirements. You will work on-site and report directly to the Plant Manager. Main Responsibilities Perform daily quality control inspections and tests on raw materials and finished products. Provide immediate feedback to the Quality Engineer on any quality issues. Help maintain quality control logs, documentation, and reports. Help with ongoing projects and improvements in the Quality Control Department. Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement in quality control processes. Help with investigations into customer complaints and product rejections. Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment. Complete any other tasks as directed by the Quality Control Engineer. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of continuous improvement methods. Familiarity with chemical equipment and measurement concepts. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
