Quality Manager
, you will lead the overall Quality function and ensure that all products, processes, systems, and teams operate in full compliance with customer requirements and international automotive standards. You will oversee the end-to- end quality management system, drive continuous improvement, and act as a strategic partner to customers, suppliers, and internal leadership.
Quality Leadership & Strategy
Lead the Quality Department (PQE, CQE, SQE, Incoming Inspection, and System Quality).
Formulate and implement quality strategies aligned with plant and corporate direction.
Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards including IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
Quality Management System (QMS)
Oversee development, implementation, and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
Ensure effective execution of 5S, ISO, IATF 16949, and internal quality standards.
Lead management reviews and ensure QMS performance targets are met.
Customer Quality & Issue Resolution
Serve as the main quality contact for OEM customers.
Manage customer complaints, provide timely 8D/5Why reports, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure strong customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent communication and follow-up.
APQP/PPAP & Product Quality Assurance
Lead product qualification activities: APQP, PPAP submission, validation, and quality approvals.
Review quality documentation from production and suppliers to ensure readiness for customer audits.
Ensure inspection standards, quality plans, and control plans are properly implemented.
Supplier Quality Management
Oversee SQE activities--evaluation, qualification, and performance monitoring of suppliers.
Drive supplier improvement programs and ensure non-conformities are closed with effective CAPA.
Internal & External Audit Management
Lead internal audit programs and coordinate external audits (IATF, customer, OEM audits).
Continuous Improvement & Data Analytics
Monitor key quality KPIs: PPM, FPY, NPIs, warranty return trends, and customer scorecards.
Lead improvement projects using quality tools (FMEA,PPAP,APQP SPC, MSA, DOE, Lean Six Sigma).
Analyze 4M/Process changes and ensure product and process stability.

Skills and Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Quality Management, or related engineering field.
Minimum
5-7 years of experience
in automotive quality, including at least
2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
.
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, 8D methodology.
Hands-on experience with quality measuring tools (CMM, calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
Proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin (to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking teams and clients).

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM13,500.00 per month
