Change the future with us. The Quality Manager in Project is to act as a key support to the Project Delivery Team in all aspects of Quality management and reporting. He/she shall act as a catalyst for managing Quality activities in all Siemens project phases. He/she will work with the Project Management team to close out any non-conformance in delivery to ensure positive project results. He/she acts as a member of the project core team with special focus on Quality management in all projects and project sites. In this role, you will have to:
- Ensure all the Malaysia regulations and client requirements for Quality matters are addressed in both Bid and Project.
- Support project management in ensuring quality work for all activities.
- Able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, carry out regular audits to ensure Quality in projects in all phases.
- Carry out Supplier Quality audits for Supplier qualification and regular evaluations.
- Coordinate & conduct Quality related trainings for staff as required.
- Planning Quality Management promotions in the Company.
- Managing the overall effectiveness of the Quality Management System through a working Quality Committee.
- Communicating and promoting Quality Management programs to workers and contractors or suppliers.
- Communicating and coordinating activities with other Quality Management Committee Members.
- Ensuring compliance to objectives and targets for Quality Management Program.
- Reporting of overall performance of the Quality Management for the assigned projects.
- Ensuring project work at site from Quality point of view for compliance and adherence to regulations from the authorities.
- Raise Corrective Action Request for breach of applicable Quality Management Regulation and System requirements.
- Be an active promoter of Quality in matters relating to the Quality Management System.
- Conduct Quality Internal Audit and Contractor Audit periodically.
- Monitor quality related KPIs or key figures related to projects assigned.
- Experience in working on large and complex railway projects managing Quality will be a plus.
- Establish good network of resources working with teams in Malaysia and in the Asia Pacific Region.

- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in engineering or similar education background that is relevant to Quality
- At least 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Rail projects is Mandatory
- Around 6 plus years as project team member and working with multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work in concurrent bids and manage portfolio of projects
- Good IT Skills

- A Qualified/ trained Lead Auditor ISO 9001/ ISO14001/ ISO45001
- Familiar with ISO/TS29001, ISO14001 & ISO45001, IRIS, Quality management system and legal and other requirements
