About the role

The Quality System Executive will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve through analytical ability, problem solving and decision skills to plan and co-ordinate supply chain to achieve high customer service

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for the development and implementation of the company\'s Quality / Food safety Management System.
• To assist in all preparation during internal audit, external audit, customer audit, management review and other related matters to ensure the company operations comply with the management system standards
• Act as Superuser for Intelex system.
• Act as document controller for quality & food safety management system. Co-ordinate and actively participate in cross functional groups to develop, implement, maintain and review policies, procedures, standards, forms and templates.
• Pest control :

• Assist in managing the contract and services of pest control.
• Ensure plant in good GMP condition to avoid pest infestation issue.
• Perform investigation when there is pest detection and ensure corrective/preventive action in place.
• Manage and arrange RSPO internal audit and certification audit
• Conduct self-inspection for GMP / Food safety, raise the finding to PIC and follow up on the closure
• Perform any other duties from time to time as requested by superior

Qualifications and skills

• Holds a B.S. degree in chemistry or food science from a recognized university.
• Has a minimum of two years of work experience in quality assurance, preferably in a chemical or related process industry.
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and has exposure to HACCP and GMP practices, which is considered an advantage.
• Effectively communicates ideas both in individual and group settings.
• Clearly articulates ideas in written documents.
• Adapts language and terminology to suit the audience.
• Listens to and understands customer needs.
