Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Quantity Surveyor to facilitate in managing project costs and ensure efficient use of resources throughout construction processes. The ideal candidate will support budgeting, and cost control, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project align with client and company expectations.

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience Required:

Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply,

OR minimum 1 year of relevant experience in the construction or consultancy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ based on drawings and specifications). Responsible for tender preparation and evaluation of contractor/subcontractor quotations. Conducting site valuations and progress claims. Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budget. Prepare and evaluate variation orders (VO). Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors. Prepare cost reports.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical and numerical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., PAM, FIDIC) Familiarity with cost management software (if applicable to the role)
Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
