JOB DESCRIPTION

Review of tender documents to identity exact requirements and identity potential issues i.e. contractual requirements that are too onerous.

Provide a detailed "Take Off" and Bill of Quantities, if and when required.

Create Bill of Quantities for Design and Build tenders.

Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the projects

Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation

Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjusting budget projections

Procure/agree the services of contractors/subcontractors who work on the construction of the project

Measure and value the work done on site and prepare progress report.

Able to call quotation, cost comparison & analysis, and work out the budget

Able to hands-on experience on site works and project management

Ensure that project activities are completed within timeframe and planned budget

Liaise with regulatory authorities, client, consultants, subcon (inclusive foreign worker) and any site issues

Follow up project off and on site and update the CEO on the progress of works from time to time

Able to coordinate with internal & external party to solve technical/operational issues.

Ensure correspondence, calibration record and construction drawings are maintained and retained according to ISO standard

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.

Working experience in Quantity Surveying Firm is a

.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field

Knowledge of Precast concrete structure; measurement of structural quantity are essential

Able to read and understand construction drawings

Ability to work under tight schedules and willing to work long hours during tendering stage.

Willing to travel, preferably possess own transport

Familiar with local construction market and able to source materials, equipment, suppliers & subcon.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
