POSITION : QUANTITY SURVEYOR BASED ON : KOTA KINABALU REQUIREMENT \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent. *At least 2-10 years experience in Quantity Surveyor /relevant main construction \xe2\x80\xa2 Candidates must have experience in high-rise project \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage as need to deal with China expatriates and workers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Be able to work independently with minimum guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines. *Involves in Government project* JOB DESCRIPTION \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparation and submission of budgetary estimates from tender drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and costs estimation, progress claim, variation order, evaluation of claims, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare award of contracts, check contract documents and to recommend contractor\'s valuations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Accountable for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, site valuation, variation order and final accounts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor on amendments to the scope of works and conditions of contract, variation order and apply extension of time if necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Acquire quotation from contractor and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with client, consultant, suppliers and sub-contractors. \xe2\x80\xa2 Co-ordinate with finance department on payment related matters, monitoring monthly projection of cash flow, physical report for on-going project. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare/verify payment certificates and finalize final account of projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 To highlight to the project department on any commercial and contractual issues and solve the issue. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare monthly report, project budget and cash flow projection. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior. * Please submit your resume to humanresources.jusb@gmail.com
