Requirements
Requirements :

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Required languages: English , Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is added advantage
• At least 2 years of working experience in construction or equivalent
• Fresh graduates, internship are welcome
• Skills requires: Cost Estimation, contact Management, Rish Management, Cost control, Quality takeoff

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• To prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation; attend tender interviews. Preparing and analyzing costings for tenders.
• To handle pre and post contract of a project.
• To review construction plans and preparing quantity requirements. Track variation works and changes to the design and/or construction work and submit Variation Order claims.
• To procure the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project. Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
• To prepare comparison and Letter of Award.
• To prepare monthly interim claims to clients and sub-contractors based on the actual measurement/work done on site.
• Ability to liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as architects, engineers, site managers, project managers and site engineer & suppliers/vendors, subcontractors.
• To liaise with purchasing dept for material selection and/or source construction materials chinese speaking suppliers. Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for a project.
• To prepare monthly reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents to head of department for review.
• To keep track of materials and ordering more when required.
• To travel from the office to various sites as required for site evaluation, site meetings, and site measurements.
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
• Undertake other tasks related when required by the Management from time to time.
