Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
3 - 5 years of experience on requirement field is an added advantage.
Familiar with tendering and procurement processes.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate project costs and contracts.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
Responsibilities
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
Participate in the tendering and procurement process, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids and negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project requirements.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and other contract documents.
Monitor project costs and expenditures, track variations and prepare regular cost reports to ensure projects remain within budget.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate cost control and financial management throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related costs, contracts, and financial information.
Evaluate the completed work and prepare payment certificates for contractors and suppliers.
