Quantity Surveyor

Job Description
- Undertake the preparation of estimates, including preliminary estimates, approximate quantities estimates, and pre-tender estimates.
- Conduct cost studies for various design options and specifications.
- Establish the structure for quantities takeoff and Bills of Quantities ( QS).
- Collaborate with the team to quantify quantities using Cubicost TAS & TRB software or manual measurement in Excel as needed.
- Review tender document terms and conditions, assess their relevance, and make recommendations for amendments to management.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to address queries effectively.
- Perform site valuations and prepare interim valuations. Prepare final accounts meticulously.
- Attend all client, consultant, and site meetings.
- Oversee the review of tender sums and contract terms to ensure successful project tendering and execution.
- Strategically manage contract terms, resolving any unsuitable clauses effectively.
- Utilize extensive experience in sourcing subcontractors and suppliers to secure optimal deals.
