Location: Kempas Technology Park, JohorWorking Days: 6 days a week:We are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Our client is the General Contractor of a Nasdaq-listed company in the US.Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 1-2 years of experience are welcome to apply. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be working closely with our project teams, primarily handling cost estimation, project budgeting, and contract administration to ensure effective cost control on our construction projects. This role requires proficiency in Chinese as you will be communicating with our Chinese-speaking clients and suppliers.Key Responsibilities:1xe3x80x81Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.2xe3x80x81Conduct regular site measurements and assessments to monitor work progress and ensure cost control.3xe3x80x81Support contract administration, including reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.4xe3x80x81Prepare and review progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.5xe3x80x81Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure project costs are within budget.6xe3x80x81Prepare regular reports on project costs and budget status.Requirements:1xe3x80x81 Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.2xe3x80x81Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1-2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.3xe3x80x81Proficiency in Chinese is essential to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.4xe3x80x81Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.5xe3x80x81Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Benefits:Competitive salary package with growth opportunities.
