Job Description

The job role of a quantity surveyor involves the following duties:

1. Liaising with clients to identify their needs

2. Estimating quantities, costs and time scales for material and labour

3. Preparing tender and contract documents

4. Identifying and weighing up commercial risks

5. Assigning work to subcontractors

6. Valuing completed work, managing budgets and overseeing payments

7. Ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards

8. Ensuring that clients get value for their money

9. Advising on the maintenance costs of specific buildings

10. Submitting regular budget reports

11. Working at a client's business, in an office or on a construction site.

12. Committed ad hoc works, task are typically short-term, specific to a particular situation, and often arise due to unexpected needs or emergencies

13. Other works based on director

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
