About the role

We are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at KHARIZBUILDERS (M) SDN. BHD.' in Johor Bahru, Johor. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will playa crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient project delivery. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process Negotiating and managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers Providing expert advice on cost-saving measures and project optimization Liaising with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project financial objectives are met Preparing and analysing progress reports, identifying and mitigating financial risks Assisting with the preparation of final accounts and claims

What we're looking for

Diploma or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field Fresh graduates are strongly encourage to apply! Strong understanding of construction processes, contract administration, and cost management principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work underpressure and meet deadlines Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software and construction cost estimation tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry standards
