Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Responsibilities : \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop an estimate for the cost of each material required for a project and keep track on project costs to make sure the objectives are achieved in line with contract law. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare contracts, legal tender documents, invoices, and other documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Communicate with the management, contractors and sub-contractors on the adjustments to cost estimates to facilitate smooth transition of information. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct the negotiations during the course of the project in order to ensure issues are resolved. \xe2\x80\xa2 Control project scope to meet project objectives in order to enhance project deliverables and key work activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Oversee and ensure compliance with standards. \xe2\x80\xa2 Create a cost analysis and develop cost-cutting methods to make sure the project\'s overall value is increased. Requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Quantity Survey; \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum 5-years experiences in construction (Earthwork & Infrastructure) estimating is preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Computer literate
