Job Description

\xc2\xb7 To provide support to the management during the pre-tender process starting from evaluating/ assessing tenders, assessing risk factors to arrive at bid decisions, and estimating all the required material, equipment, and manpower needs to be able to arrive at reliable cost estimates for bidding projects.

\xc2\xb7 To enquire, consult, and coordinate with client & consultant representatives for specification/ technical and BOQ clarifications required for tenders and proposals and attend pre-tender meetings (if necessary).

\xc2\xb7 To study, analyze, and evaluate tender documents from a technical point of view in order to identify risk factors, ensuring that technical terms comply with the relevant standards and coordinate with the concerned person for the overall risk assessment and bid decision.

\xc2\xb7 To maintain a list of eligible vendors, particularly for upcoming bids.

\xc2\xb7 To finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs and consolidate tender documents for management review and approval.

\xc2\xb7 To monitor deadlines and generate weekly tender status reports highlighting progress on concerned and projected timelines for tenders.

\xc2\xb7 To prepare and generate monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/ losses (indicating reasons) for review and verification of management.

\xc2\xb7 To maintain tender files and arrange for archiving following the completion of the tender.

Job Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Quantity Survey/Construction/Building or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 At least 3 years of working experience in related field is required.

\xc2\xb7 Preferably experience in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 Initiative, able to work under minimum supervision, good communication and negotiation skills, team player.

\xc2\xb7 Good verbal and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Communication in Mandarin is an added advantage
