Job Responsibility Estimates costs for construction projects. Helps prepare tender documents and assesses contractor bids. Monitors project costs and implements cost-saving measures. Manages project budgets and provides regular reports. Coordinates procurement of materials and services. Administers contracts and resolves disputes. Identifies cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Measures material quantities from drawings. Maintains project documentation. Communicates with clients regarding project updates. Assists in resolving construction disputes. Manages financial risks associated with projects. Ensures construction quality meets standards. Keeps up-to-date with industry trends and regulations through professional development. Job Requirements A Quantity Surveyor (QS) is a critical role in the construction industry responsible for managing all aspects of the costing and financial management of construction project Min Education: Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is typically required. Min 1 years experience candidate encourage to apply Able to communicate and understand in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, Familiarity with construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management techniques is also important.
