A Local Conglomerate that has quickly risen to prominence with a diversified business specialization in Construction, Infrastructure, Telecommunications and Property Development.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES\xc2\xb7 Create, monitor, and manage project budgets. To stay on budget, ensure that all costs are tracked and efficiently controlled.\xc2\xb7 Create detailed cost estimates for building projects that include materials, labor, and equipment. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and help the Contracts Manager with pre- and post-contract tasks.\xc2\xb7 Analyze costs and offer detailed updates on project progress and financial results. Identify and manage any financial risks.\xc2\xb7 Help with the procurement process by preparing tender documents, assessing bids, and selecting contractors and suppliers.\xc2\xb7 Perform values for intermediate and final payments. Ensure that payments are processed accurately and timely.\xc2\xb7 Maintain strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Communicate the project\'s financial condition and answer any concerns.\xc2\xb7 Ensure that every work meets applicable legal, regulatory, and professional standards.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with project managers, engineers, QS Contract Manager, and other team members to ensure accurate cost management and project delivery.JOB REQUIREMENTS\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field\xc2\xb7 8-10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the construction infrastructure industry.\xc2\xb7 Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, MS Project).\xc2\xb7 Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.\xc2\xb7 BQSM (Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia) certification\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Malay and English is essential, while Mandarin proficiency is optional.Click Apply Now to apply for this role or forward your updated CV tosunil.see@jac-recruitment.comThank you!#LI-JACMY#countrymalaysia
