JOB VACANCY: QUANTITY SURVEYOR, EXECUTIVE

JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of cost management throughout the lifecycle of construction projects - from tender, inception to completion. Your role is crucial in ensuring cost efficiency while upholding quality standards and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze plans, specifications, and tender documents to estimate time, cost, materials, and labor.
Administer pre-contract & post-contract activities including cost analysis, budget control, sub-contract awards, and progress claims/certifications.
Participate in scheduled progress and coordination meetings.
Procure and liaise with contractors and subcontractors for project execution.
Measure and value work completed on-site; prepare detailed progress and cost reports.
Conduct feasibility studies on material, time, and labor requirements.
Manage project budget and expenditures from start to finish.
Advise on and negotiate procurement strategies.
Prepare and submit final accounts and variation order claims.
Monitor Engineers' Instructions, Architect's Instructions, and Client Instructions.
Assist in tracking project costing and managing specialist items in coordination with the project manager and purchaser.
Job Requirements:

Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Solid understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and project management.
Proficient in construction-related software and estimation tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive and well-organised approach.
